Anne Mieke Lumsden

• Born in Holland but now living in Frome, Somerset
• Graduated in Typographical Design at the Rietveld Akademie, Amsterdam 1961
• Worked as a resident illustrator and cartoonist at a Dutch children’s magazine
• Freelance illustrator in Holland and now in England
• Stipple engraver on glass and member of Guild of Glass Engravers for 15 years, later becoming a Fellow
• Botanical watercolourist of wild plants
• Now: drawings mainly in ink and oil paintings
