Penelope Timmis

Born in Kingston-upon-Thames in London in 1956. Penelope has lived in Shropshire for 30 years. She studied art in Shrewsbury and the Froebel Institute in Roehampton. After a long gap (whilst bringing up a family) she returned to painting seriously in 2003. Since that time, she has had various joint and one woman shows.

In 2010 she was elected into the RBSA (Royal Birmingham Society of Artists) and SWA (Society of Women Artists)

'Colour and movement are what I look for in all that I see around me, and I hope are reflected in my paintings'.
