Bob Brown NEAC Artist Painter South West Wales Fountain Fine Art Llandeilo Newbury
Born 1936
"Studied at Croydon college of Art under Fred Dubery and Lionel Bulmer. His range of subjects is as wide as the scale on which he works, from intimate portrait studies or tiny landscapes to full scale paintings of church facades, architecture and interiors. His handling of paint demands attention, the delicatly modulated tones combined with an almost lyrical use of colour. The paintings are executed with a verve and energy which the viewer finds both compelling and ultimately extremely optimistic." Julien Halsby.
