- Born in Holland but now living in Frome, Somerset

- Graduated in Typographical Design at the Rietveld Akademie, Amsterdam 1961

- Worked as a resident illustrator and cartoonist at a Dutch children’s magazine

- Freelance illustrator in Holland and now in England

- Stipple engraver on glass and member of Guild of Glass Engravers for 15 years, later becoming a Fellow

- Botanical watercolourist of wild plants

- Now: drawings mainly in ink and oil paintings
